Judy's Story - a video of Judy talking about and making her cards
She particularly enjoys printing with lino, playing with colour and challenging paper to do dramatic new things. Her range of greetings cards open out to give a three-dimensional ‘sea of celebration’ that is a both a card and a free-standing sculpture, which becomes an object of beauty in its own right.
She regularly refreshs the range, having been trading for 12 years, currently offering over 50 designs, selling through over 200 retailers, major museums, B2C, plus selected overseas sellers. The die cut cards come with an insert presenting a barcode, image and artist information.
All my materials, production and distribution are proudly UK-based.
Judy Lumley Print launched a range of cards from Los Angeles artist David Weidman. These serigraphs were originally produced in the 1960’s and 70s. His graphic sensibility and expert use of saturated colour palettes evoke the vintage/modern look while remaining completely relevant to contemporary designers. This work featured in Mad Men, on the office walls of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. There are nine designs, 6 portrait and 3 landscape, size 140 x 170. On the reverse there is a small cut out image, information about the artist, barcode and each is presented in an individual cellophane bags. Judy Lumley Print has the exclusive licence for these images in the UK, Europe and Australia.
